SGIC 2D Bivariate Distribution Analysis
This 2D instrument is used to study in detail the chemical composition-molar mass binary distribution of amorphous or low crystallinity polyolefins and functionalized polyolefins. Chemical component separation is achieved by solvent gradient as the first dimension in an interaction chromatography column, followed by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) /size exclusion chromatography (SEC) for the second dimension of molar mass separation.
Using this two-dimensional analysis method, three-dimensional and contour maps, as well as restored one-dimensional SGIC and two-dimensional GPC profiles, were obtained. In addition, the built-in IR5 detector can directly measure the chemical composition of polyolefins (methyl content, comonomer weight ratio)
