2025, Ninth ICPC Conference, China. Shanghai
The International Polyolefin Characterization Conference (ICPC) was created to meet the need for an international conference dedicated to the characterization of polyolefins, as most of the existing polyolefin conferences deal with catalysts and reaction engineering.
The ICPC conference addresses various aspects of the characterization of the molecular structure of polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP): including molar mass distribution (GPC/SEC), comonomer incorporation and distribution, long chain branching, crystallinity and rheological properties, and material and process sustainability.
Organized by Polymer Char, the previous conferences were held in Houston, Texas, USA (2006, 2012 and 2018), Valencia, Spain (2008, 2014 and 2023) and Shanghai, China (2010 and 2016), covering the world and becoming a veritable international conference in the field of polyolefin characterization. The next conference will be held in Shanghai, China in 2025.
The International Polyolefin Characterization Conference was attended by polyolefin leaders from more than 25 countries, with some 35 lectures and 40 poster presentations at the previous sessions, bringing together industry and academia researchers from all continents, making the ICPC a unique platform for learning, sharing and exchange. ICPC now has the support of many leaders in the petrochemical, research and instrumentation industries.
