2016 User Training Meeting Ends Successfully

On November 11, 2016, the Polymer Char Instrument User Training Meeting (UTM 2016) jointly organized by Beijing Yiluda Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. and Spanish Polymer Char Company was successfully concluded in Shanghai Hyatt Hotel. UTM is held once a year to improve the operation and use skills of Polymer Char instrument users and to play a greater role in the development and production of polyolefins.

In the early stage of UTM, Beijing Yiluda Company conducted extensive research on customers in China. The enthusiasm of customers was very high. The number of users of Char Instruments in Polymer, Spain, basically all participated in the user training meeting, with 59 people, mainly including: China Petroleum and Petrochemical Research Institute, China Petroleum Fushun Petrochemical Research Institute, China Petroleum Lanzhou Petrochemical Center, etc. Sinopec Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry, Sinopec Qilu Branch, Yangzi Petrochemical and Zhenhai Refining; taiwan Plastics Co., Ltd. Yunlin Branch, Kaohsiung Branch; ExxonMobil Shanghai R & D Center; Sabic Shanghai R & D Center, etc.

In order to meet the different needs of the majority of users, the UTM arranged two training: English training and Chinese training. The English training was conducted by Ms. Esther, Mr. Alberto and Mr. Juan Polymer Char, and detailed training was given on the principles, software, operation, data processing and troubleshooting of GPC-IR, CFC and CEF. Based on their own experience in using the instrument, users put forward relevant questions about the instrument, and Polymer Char engineers to answer them one by one, benefiting users a lot. The Chinese training is mainly conducted by technicians from Beijing Yiluda Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. who are responsible for giving lectures on CRYSTEX, CRYSTEX-QC and PREP C20, with the assistance of Spanish engineer Ms. Pilar. From Ms. Pilar's explanation, everyone deeply understood the principles, operation skills and fault handling of the three instruments. The atmosphere was lively and users participated in the discussion. Ms. Pilar patiently answered users' questions. At the request of the majority of users, Mr. Shi Qingjun of Beijing Yiluda Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd., combined with the practical problems in polyolefin characterization, introduced the latest technologies and methods of polyolefin characterization, which made everyone refreshing.

During the training meeting, users also had full communication, learned from each other and discussed with each other.
